The Innovative Center for Learning, part of Shaker Heights High School, offers youth a variety of non-traditional opportunities for learning that are tailored to their unique interests and learning styles. The Shaker Heights Youth Center’s master’s level social work and counselor staff provide services at the Innovative Center for Learning.
Our staff evaluates and supports students who are experiencing challenges that are affecting their lives. A variety of supports may be used to connect with the students including individual engagement, small group discussions, collaboration with teachers and administrators, and connecting families to community resources.
